In this dissertation, the lives of five young people living in Norrköping follows for five years (1998 – 2002) through fieldwork involving observations and recurring interviews.The objective of the study is to describe and analyse the development into adulthood and the creation of a (cultural) identity among a group of young people in a town, which used to be heavily working class. Denna avhandling berättar om lesbisk feminism i Sverige under 1970- och 1980-talen. Särskilt studeras produktionen av lesbiskfeministiska diskurser. Avhandlingens syfte är att undersöka genom vilka (kollektiva och politiska) diskursproduktioner som lesbiska feminister förstod sina identiteter, kroppar, kön och sexualitet. LÄS MER

This thesis deals with the rise, during the first half of this century, of the centrally organized co-operation between the principal actors on the Swedish labour market - Landsorganisationen, LO (The Swedish Trade Union Confederation) and Svenska Arbetsgivareforeningen, SAF ( The Swedish Employers' Confederation). This cooperation forms the core of what has later been called "The Swedish Model" - a partly formalized partly informal "constitution" regulating the relations between Labour, Capital and Government in Sweden. Sammanfattning :
The main aim of this licentiate thesis is to examine how local actors in a medium-sized Swedish municipality, Värnamo, in their role as decision-makers at the local arena, describe and explain the preconditions and strategies for local economic and social development. The analysis uses semi-structured interviews to reveal the connections between the local actors representations of social and economic structures and their representations of central and future strategic choices. This thesis is about foster family care in Sweden during the 20th century. In the beginning of the century many children lived in foster homes. Because of the law regulating state child care passed in 1926, children’s welfare boards were established in the municipalities. LÄS MER
