Sammanfattning : In this dissertation the use of history in public debate in Norway and Sweden in relation to membership in the European Union (EU) 1990–1994 is examined. Sammanfattning : Based on an analysis of the roles of alterity and the Other in six Québécois novels published between 1989 and 2002, this study examines how the identity of these first-person narrators is formed through processes of dysphoria, migration and elaborations of mutual space in what will be called practices of Here. The novels can be referred to as texts of the new subjectivité québécoise. LÄS MER

Sammanfattning : In this dissertation, young men's experiences of being victims of crime are analysed. Several kinds of material are considered in this study, but the primary data consist of informal, tape-recorded interviews with ten young men (17 to 21 year's old) who had been assaulted or mugged. 20. Fragile identities, patched-up worlds : Dementia and meaning-making in social interaction
Sammanfattning : Denna avhandling fokuserar på det meningsskapande och begripliggörande som fortgår vid tilltagande demenssjukdom, i det sociala samspelet, och de utmaningar för demens-omsorgen som detta innebär. Studien är aktörsorienterad och adresserar frågan om hur personer med åldersrelaterade progressiva demenssjukdomar i den vardagliga kommuni-kationen söker förstå sina situationer, omgivningen och sina liv – alltsammans inom ra-men för det dagliga samspelet på ett demensboende.
