  1. 1. Characterisation of weak and null phenotypes in the KEL and JK blood group systems

    Detta är en avhandling från Department of Laboratory Medicine, Lund University

    Författare :Elisabet Sjöberg Wester; [2010]
    Nyckelord :MEDICIN OCH HÄLSOVETENSKAP; MEDICAL AND HEALTH SCIENCES; null; SNP; Kidd; JK; Blood group; Kell; KEL; weak;

    Sammanfattning : The focus of this thesis is on KEL and JK, two clinically important blood group systems, and the investigations of blood samples with aberrant antigen expression as in null and weak phenotypes, or with a phenotype that does not correspond to genotype. With the increasing use of DNA assays based on single nucleotide polymorphisms for blood group prediction, it is important to characterize the blood-groupencoding genes. LÄS MER

  2. 2. Detecting Deletions by Analysis of Genetic Markers in Pedigrees

    Detta är en avhandling från Department of Cell and Organism Biology, Lund University

    Författare :Anna Johansson; [2007]
    Nyckelord :NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; cytogenetics; Genetik; Genetics; Biologi; genetic marker; pedigree; Protein S deficiency; Biology; PROS1; deletion; null allele; cytogenetik;

    Sammanfattning : A deletion is defined as a missing piece of a chromosome, ranging in size from as small as a single base pair to as much as an entire arm of a chromosome. Deletions can cause diseases, but may also have a neutral effect in the genome. LÄS MER

  3. 3. Measurement of trace components in aqueous solutions with near and mid infrared Fourier transform spectroscopy

    Detta är en avhandling från Department of Physics, Lund University

    Författare :Peter Snoer Jensen; [2003]
    Nyckelord :NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; Near-infrared; Temperature dependency; Dual-beam; Optical null; Optimal pathlength Haemodialysis liquid; Urea; Glucose; Phosphate; Atom- och molekylärfysik; Atomic and molecular physics; Infrared; Water absorption; Fourier transform spectroscopy; Fysicumarkivet A:2003:Snoer Jensen;

    Sammanfattning : This thesis treats various aspects of the measurement of trace components in aqueous solutions with Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy. This technique has several applications from such diverse fields as dairy industry and biomedical optics. LÄS MER

  4. 4. Motståndets akustik : Språk och (o)ljud hos Peter Weiss 1946–1960

    Detta är en avhandling från Lund : Ellerströms förlag

    Författare :Markus Huss; Ola Holmgren; Anders Olsson; Frank Thomas Grub; [2014]
    Nyckelord :HUMANIORA; HUMANITIES; Peter Weiss; monolingualism; multilingualism; exile literature; migration; intermediality; translation; sounds; noises; Stunde Null; Kahlschlag; Stig Dagerman; Gunnar Ekelöf; enspråkighet; flerspråkighet; exillitteratur; migration; intermedialitet; översättning; ljud; oljud; litteraturvetenskap; Literature;

    Sammanfattning : This study explores how language is thematized in a selection of literary texts written in Swedish and German by Peter Weiss between 1946 and 1960. The textual interpretations seek to establish how Weiss’s literary work forms a multifaceted reflection on language and its cultural, historical and material preconditions. LÄS MER
