  1. 1. Distribution and function of TRP ion channels in primary sensory neurons

    Författare :Helena Sturesson; Avdelningen för klinisk kemi och farmakologi; []
    Nyckelord :MEDICIN OCH HÄLSOVETENSKAP; MEDICAL AND HEALTH SCIENCES; MEDICIN OCH HÄLSOVETENSKAP; MEDICAL AND HEALTH SCIENCES; neurofysiologi; neuropsykologi; histokemi; cytokemi; vävnadskultur; Neurology; neuropsychology; neurophysiology; Neurologi; tissue culture; histochemistry; cytochemistry; Histology; Skin; Immunohistochemistry; Cannabinoid receptor 1 CB1 ; Pain; Primary sensory neurons; TRP ion channels; Pharmacological sciences; pharmacognosy; pharmacy; toxicology; Farmakologi; farmakognosi; farmaci; toxikologi; Histologi;

    Sammanfattning : It is frequently argued that cannabinoids exert part of their analgesic and anti-inflammatory effects via activation of the cannabinoid CB1 receptor located on TRPV1-expressing primary sensory nerve fibres in peripheral tissues. However, we find no evidence of CB1 receptor immunoreactivity on nerve fibres in rat or mouse hindpaw skin and mesenteric artery. LÄS MER

  2. 2. Den lilla tekniken i det stora skeendet : Nanoteknik, gränser och omvärldsuppfattningar

    Författare :Anja-Sofi Karhi; Carl-Reinhold Bråkenhielm; Linköpings universitet; []
    Nyckelord :SAMHÄLLSVETENSKAP; SOCIAL SCIENCES; ICT; nanotechnology; phenomenography; dichotomy; shared figures of thoughts; border exceed; ways in which people experience; Natural – Unnatural; Living – Not-living; Exterior – Interior; IKT; nanoteknik; omvärldsuppfattningar; fenomenografi; tankefigurer; dikotomier; gränsöverskridanden; naturligt och ickenaturligt; levande och ickelevande materia; yta och innehåll; Technology and social change; Teknik och social förändring;

    Sammanfattning : Sedan några år tillbaka intar nanoteknik en position som ett av de mest "heta" och högst prioriterade forsknings- och utvecklingsområdena. Tilltron är stark till att nanotekniken kommer att påverka nästan alla aspekter av våra liv. LÄS MER

  3. 3. Simulation and execution of autonomous robot systems

    Författare :Magnus Olsson; Institutionen för elektro- och informationsteknik; []
    Nyckelord :TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; robotics; Automation; Elektronik och elektroteknik; sensor simulation robotics; Electronics and Electrical technology; control engineering; Automatiska system; robotteknik; reglerteknik;

    Sammanfattning : Traditional off-line programming is not enough in order to use the full potential of virtual models and simulation system in industrial robot applications. The interface between off-line programming system and the robot controller is today restricted to program transfer. LÄS MER

  4. 4. Exploring the Aesthetics of Felt Time

    Författare :Elsa Kosmack Vaara; Kristina Höök; Cheryl Akner Koler; Anna Ståhl; Richard Harper; Caroline Hummels; KTH; []
    Nyckelord :HUMANIORA; HUMANITIES; time; temporality; felt; interaction; design; aesthetics; tid; temporalitet; känsla; estetik; design; interaktion; Människa-datorinteraktion; Human-computer Interaction;

    Sammanfattning : By building a felt time repertoire, designers can sensitively feed a sense of time into their design work. And this in turn can help them produce an interaction gestalt that is richer, more sensual. My research on this suggests that this is not entirely easy, however. One has to develop a ‘feel’ for time. 5. 5. Shape and Being Shaped : Sketching with Haptics in Soma Design

    Författare :Charles Windlin; Kristina Höök; Jarmo Laaksolahti; Anders Lundström; Bill Buxton; KTH; []
    Nyckelord :HUMANIORA; HUMANITIES; NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; Sketching; Soma Design; Constructive Design Research; Haptic Interaction Design; first-person; Människa-datorinteraktion; Human-computer Interaction;

    Sammanfattning : Sketching is an integral part of the design process, and it often occurs in the early ideation phase where the focus is on expressing ideas, thoughts, and emotions, allowing them to take shape and making it possible to share them with others to propel the design process forwards. In principle, sketching is a process of externalising thoughts into visualisations, and it influences the creator and collaborators by enabling them to realise and reflect on the possibility and viability of their ideas and develop them further by adding to or subtracting from the sketches.
