Several kinds of material are considered in this study, but the primary data consist of informal, tape-recorded interviews with ten young men (17 to 21 year's old) who had been assaulted or mugged.     Sammanfattning : This doctoral thesis analyzes the balancing and proportionality analyses performed by Swedish legislators over time in the creation of legislation allowing for the interception of communica- tions data and metadata by the Swedish Security Service for intelligence purposes.     Sammanfattning : The first of three parts in this study elaborates on international human rights law and drawing on the most essential international instruments and jurisprudence, the criteria constituting judicial independence are distilled as a framework for assessment.
