Sammanfattning : The issues of the study are: How do the assistant principals face the work as school leaders? Which demands of competence do the new school leaders face? Which needs of competence development exist for new school leaders? In the school studied the organization of the management was changed from one principal and one director of studies to one principal and six assistant principals. Sammanfattning : The purpose of this study was to chart the situation of women principals. By the time the in-vestigation was made the whole amount of women principals in compulsory school was about 16 percent (90/91). Of 235 contacted women, 204 were serving as principals. 173 responded which means 85 percent. LÄS MER
