    Sammanfattning : This thesis explores how philosophical perspectives of justice can facilitate a critical discussion and a deepened understanding of the school choice issue and how it can be related to fundamental pedagogical ends of education, such as developing children´s autonomy and educating them to become democratic citizens. The methodological approach is based on John Dewey’s view of pragmatism, which argues for an experimental process of inquiry incorporating reflection on alternative lines of action. LÄS MER

    Sammanfattning : The aim of this thesis is to critically examine drug prevention as a field of problematizations  – how drug prevention becomes established as a political technology within this field, how it connects to certain modes of governance, how and under which conditions it constitutes it’s problematic, the questions it asks,  it´s implications in terms of political participation and representation, the various bodies of knowledge through which it constitutes the reality upon which it acts, the limits it places on ways of being, questioning, and talking  in the world.The main analyses have been conducted in four separate but interrelated articles.     Sammanfattning : Detta avhandlingsarbete undersöker hur psykologer förhåller sig till de olika betydelser av kön som finns i de sammanhang de befinner sig i när de utövar sitt yrke. Genom att utforska de betydelser som barn- och ungdoms­psykologer ger skillnader mellan flickor och pojkar har jag identifierat svårigheter och möjligheter när det gäller att inkludera sociala och kulturella aspekter i beskrivningar av barns och ungas psykologiska utveckling inom psykologiprofessionen i Sverige.
