    Sammanfattning : For how many years was a farmer responsible for running a farm in Sweden’s old peasant society’? This is the question that underpins my research into life in Ramkvilla parish in the province of Småland for two hundred years (1623–1819). By conducting a detailed study of farm practice at the individual level, I have been able to analyse a complex theme that touches upon the issues of responsibility for work and taxes, relationships between the generations and sexes, and the crises of agrarian society.     Sammanfattning : Starting around 1500 a period of state formation changed the European map. The scattered medieval principalities were replaced with more centralised and better organised states with permanent armies. Sweden was quite successful in competing with these states and experienced a period of expansion. LÄS MER

    Sammanfattning : The situation of unmarried mothers in Swedish rural society during 1680–1880 is the subject of this thesis. It focuses on the judicial and religious discourse concerning extra-marital sexuality. The state felt duty-bound to control extra-marital sexuality, and this resulted in a dynamic legislative arena.     Sammanfattning : Historical agricultural and economical research indicates that the extensive changes in society that occurred in Sweden (within agriculture, trade, landownership and production) at the end of Sweden's Time of Greatness in 1720 should have noticeably affected the living conditions of the population. A systematic study that compares the 17th and 18th century's demography has however still not been made. LÄS MER

Övergripande syfte är att beskriva och förklara lexikala förändringar hos ord bildade med bauta(-) i svenskan under perioden 1664–2006, med särskild hänsyn till dessa förändringars relation till ordens etableringsgrad.
