Sammanfattning : This dissertation studies the royal ceremonies of the Vasa era in Sweden. The ceremonies connected with two Swedish monarchs – Erik XIV and Queen Kristina – is examined. From the sixteenth century I study Gustav Vasa’s funeral 1560, Erik XIV’s coronation 1561, Erik’s deposition 1568/69 and his brother Johan’s coronation 1569. LÄS MER

Sammanfattning : Starting around 1500 a period of state formation changed the European map. The scattered medieval principalities were replaced with more centralised and better organised states with permanent armies. Sammanfattning : This study examines how banquets hosted by the Roman emperor were vehicles of imperial propaganda and expressions of the ruler’s political legitimation. 5. Legitimized Refugees : A Critical Investigation of Legitimacy Claims within the Precedents of Swedish Asylum Law
Sammanfattning : This study focuses on asylum cases decided at Sweden’s migration courts. More precisely, it analyses how the highest legal instance, the Migration Court of Appeal (hereafter MCA), legitimizes decisions that concern asylum seekers.
