   Sammanfattning : In this thesis the oeuvre of the Swedish artist Jan Håfström (born 1937), from his debut in 1966 until 2002, is presented for the first time in a comprehensive approach.    Sammanfattning : This study focuses on how the American poet William Carlos Williams (1883–1963) deals with Europe and tradition in works published between 1917 and 1928 and in unpublished material from the same period. Poems from Al Que Quiere! (1917), Sour Grapes (1921), Kora in Hell (1920) and Spring and All (1923) as well as The Great American Novel (1923) and A Voyage to Pagany (1928) constitute the core of the material. LÄS MER

   Sammanfattning : The present study is a reading of the folkloric fairy-tale poem The Swain (Mólodets) (1924) by the Russian Modernist poet Marina Tsvetaeva (1892-1941).The poem represents a high point in Tsvetaeva’s experiments with Russian folk art, and it is thoroughly folkloric in its theme, forms of writing and poetic language.    Sammanfattning : This dissertation examines artistic translations of constructivism by the Brazilian artists Geraldo de Barros (1923-1998), Lygia Pape (1927-2004) and Lygia Clark (1920-1988) using the theoretical perspectives of anthropophagy and biopolitics. Previous research has addressed artworks of Brazilian constructivism, a movement which over the last few decades has been canonised as part of a multiple, global modernism. LÄS MER
