Sammanfattning : This dissertation studies the royal ceremonies of the Vasa era in Sweden. The ceremonies connected with two Swedish monarchs – Erik XIV and Queen Kristina – is examined. From the sixteenth century I study Gustav Vasa’s funeral 1560, Erik XIV’s coronation 1561, Erik’s deposition 1568/69 and his brother Johan’s coronation 1569. LÄS MER

The scattered medieval principalities were replaced with more centralised and better organised states with permanent armies. 5. Berättelser med sanningsanspråk : Språklig och multimodal argumentation i huvudförhandling och dom
Sammanfattning : The pupose is to study stories about crime, mythopoesis, via the modalities of speech, text and image and to problematise movements of texts that originate in other contexts and institutions. The study examines how and why rhetorical strategies are used to legitimise and delegitimise the content of speeches, texts and images in trials and how relations of influence occur between plaintiffs and defendants in written judgements.
