  1. 11. The movement towards birth : A study of women's childbirth self-efficacy and early labour

    Författare :Ing-Marie Carlsson; Eva Nissen; Kristina Ziegert; Ann-Kristin Sandin Bojö; Högskolan i Halmstad; Karolinska Institutet; Karolinska Institutet; []
    Nyckelord :MEDICIN OCH HÄLSOVETENSKAP; MEDICAL AND HEALTH SCIENCES; MEDICIN OCH HÄLSOVETENSKAP; MEDICAL AND HEALTH SCIENCES; Childbirth self-efficacy; early labour; factor analysis; grounded theory; logistics regression; pregnancy; well-being;

    Sammanfattning : Aim: The overall aim of this thesis was to increase the understanding of early labour, the latency phase of labour, based on women’s experiences and ability to handle the situation. Furthermore, the aim was to perform a psychometric testing of an instrument measuring childbirth self-efficacy and to explore the relationships to women´s well-being and number of obstetric interventions and birth outcomes. 2. 12. Radioluminescence : A simple model for fluorescent layers - analysis and applications

    Författare :Jan Lindström; Åsa Carlsson Tedgren; Eva Lund; Michael Sandborg; Ioannis Kandarakis; Linköpings universitet; []
    Nyckelord :NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; MEDICIN OCH HÄLSOVETENSKAP; MEDICAL AND HEALTH SCIENCES;

    Sammanfattning : A phosphor or scintillator is a material that will emit visible light when struck by ionising radiation. In the early days of diagnostic radiology, it was discovered that the radiation dose needed to get an image on a film, could be greatly reduced by inserting a fluorescent layer of a phosphor in direct contact with the film. Sammanfattning : Background: Non-invasive diagnostic imaging of atherosclerotic coronary artery disease (CAD) is frequently carried out with cardiovascular magnetic resonance imaging (CMR) or myocardial perfusion single photon emission computed tomography (MPS). CMR is the gold standard for the evaluation of scar after myocardial infarction and MPS the clinical gold standard for ischemia. LÄS MER

    Sammanfattning : The diagnosis and treatment of patients with advanced tumors in the head and neck is an interesting challenge where there is a need for new approaches in diagnostics and adjuvant treatment. Differences in antigen expression between tumors and normal tissues provide a means for application of antibody-based targeting techniques. LÄS MER
