Sammanfattning : The monograph consists of an extensive survey of psychological and behavioral genetic research on migraine, reports of three empirical studies in this area and an extensive English summary. Study 1 indicated persons with migraine (n=28) drawn from a neurological clinic to have experienced negative psychosocial events to a significantly greater extent during their development than persons free of migraine in general population (n=28) had. Sammanfattning : The personalities and qualities of nursing personnel are considered to be of great importance for their interactions with patients and may also influence work satisfaction. The aim of the thesis was to explore the extent to which different personal qualities and personality factors, with a possible effect on motivation, professional conduct, and coping with anxiety, are represented in a group of assistant nurses (in Swedish undersköterskor), and how these qualities are related to nursing competence and long-range work satisfaction.
