Sammanfattning : Avhandlingens övergripande syfte är att tolka och beskriva innebörder av stöd, utifrån att vara förälder till barn med funktionsnedsättning och att vara professionella stödjare. Datainsamling har skett i form av berättande intervjuer med 39 föräldrar (23 mödrar och 16 fäder) och 9 professionella (7 kvinnor, 2 män) från olika verksamheter. LÄS MER
2. Krisgrupper och spontant stöd : om insatser efter branden i Göteborg 1998
Sammanfattning : The aim of the dissertation is to study the organized professional process and the spontaneous integrating and unifying process after the discotheque fire in Gothenburg 1998, when 63 young people died. Sammanfattning : The central issue is to increase knowledge of women's and men's mental wellbeing when their child is about to be born, as seen from four aspects relevant to maternity and child health care centres. Major psychological theories are the attachment theory and the affect theory, health psychology with theories on nervous tension, vulnerability, coping and individual resources, clinical psychology to understand mental divergencies, crisis theory to understand reactions, taking the individual's subjective experience and personal definitions of reactions and needs into consideration. 4. Familjers och vårdpersonals erfareheter av barn och vuxna med autism. Families and staffs experiences of children and adults with autism
Sammanfattning : The aim of this dissertation was to gain knowledge about the experiences of siblings and parents of children with autism and learning difficulties, about what brought about the decision to apply for a place in a group home for their child and what it meant for the parents that their child had moved. A further aim was to gain knowledge about what it is like to work in a group home for children with autism as well as to investigate the work atmosphere in group homes for adults with autism. LÄS MER

Sammanfattning : The aim was to describe the neonatal end-of-life practice and illuminate Swedish women's lived experiences of the threat and the reality of their neonate's dying and death as well as the care received.
