    Sammanfattning : Åsa Jernudd: Movies and Entertainment in Örebro 1897-1908This dissertation is a historical study of film exhibition in the context of emerging popular entertainment in Örebro, a medium-sized town in Sweden, 1897 to 1908. It argues that since 80% of the population resided in towns and rural areas around 1900, studying the impact of film culture in a town setting is essential for an understanding of early film culture in Sweden.     Sammanfattning : Aim: The overarching aims of the thesis were to identify clinical characteristics that predict the outcomes of depressed patients treated inclinical practice by ECT, and to elucidate the effectiveness of continuation ECT at preventing relapses and recurrences.Methods: The studies included a retrospective chart review, three studies based on a quality register for ECT, and a randomized controlled trial(RCT) examining the effectiveness of continued ECT.     Sammanfattning : In the thesis, the conditions, possibilities, and limitations for Swedish environmental organisations to influence other actors — state agencies, political organisations, enterprises and the Swedish public — are analysed. The focus is on their practice in the nineties, implying a context in which different actors, to a greater extent, have accepted the significance of environmental issues, demand knowledge of and solutions to environmental problems, and with new conflicts continously arising.
