    Sammanfattning : Den här avhandlingen tar sin utgångspunkt i äldre lhbtq-personers livsberättelser för att undersöka erfarenheter och betydelser av att leva och åldras som lesbisk, homosexuell, bisexuell, transperson eller queer. Äldre lhbtq-personer har levt och åldrats i tider där könsidentiteter och sexualiteter som går på tvärs med heteronormativiteten har varit kriminaliserade, patologiserade och många gånger framstått som avvikande.     Sammanfattning : Background: Anal infection with human papillomavirus (HPV) and associated anal squamous intraepithelial lesions (ASIL), are more prevalent among men who have sex with men (MSM) particularly among MSM and transgender women living with HIV The high prevalence of HIV among MSM and transgender women in Pakistan is a significant health concern and access to screening and health-seeking is often delayed due to stigmatization and discrimination. Anal Papanicolaou (Pap) screening may have utility in the identification of these lesions and is a cost- effective modality for anal cancer prevention among MSM, but no such data are available for Pakistan.     Sammanfattning : The aim with this dissertation is to analyse the construction and challenge of body and personhood in transsexual persons narratives on gender correction, as well as what these narratives tells of the terms through which human bodies become intelligible and recognised as possible persons.
