    Sammanfattning : Platelet-derived growth factor (PDGF) isoforms, which bind to closely related a- and b-tyrosine kinase receptors, induce migration, proliferation, survival and differentiation of mesenchymal cells. When antidepressive treatment is needed, selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors (SSRIs) are the most commonly used.
