  1. 16. Science in Business Interaction : A Study of the Collaboration between CERN and Swedish Companies

    Författare :Susanne Åberg; Håkan Håkansson; Anna Bengtson; Alexandra Waluszewski; Lars-Erik Gadde; Uppsala universitet; []
    Nyckelord :Science-business interaction; resources; public procurement; technology transfer; technical development; big science; Business Studies; Företagsekonomi;

    Sammanfattning : The aim of this thesis is twofold; to gain and understanding of how CERN, the European Organization for Nuclear Research, interacts with industry; and to gain an understanding of how CERN can become a resource for industry. Both parts of the purpose also have implications for the issue of CERN’s usefulness to industry. LÄS MER

  2. 17. Designing for shared energy responsibility

    Författare :Hanna Hasselqvist; Cristian M Bogdan; Elina Eriksson; Ylva Fernaeus; Mike Hazas; KTH; []
    Nyckelord :NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; human-computer interaction; design; sustainability; practices; energy; mobility; Human-computer Interaction; Människa-datorinteraktion;

    Sammanfattning : A significant part of the world’s carbon emissions is related to energy use for housing and personal transport, and there are many efforts to make this energy use more sustainable. In the field of Sustainable Human-Computer Interaction, there has been a great interest in exploring how interactive systems can be used to influence people’s energy use, often with a focus on providing information and encouraging energy users to change their behaviours. 3. 18. Tourism Development in Resource Peripheries : conflicting and Unifying Spaces in Northern Sweden

    Författare :Joakim Byström; Dieter K. Müller; Rikard Eriksson; Anna Dóra Sæþórsdóttir; Umeå universitet; []
    Nyckelord :SAMHÄLLSVETENSKAP; SOCIAL SCIENCES; Tourism development; labor market transformation; related diversification; path dependence; resource periphery; pleasure periphery; Social and Economic Geography; kulturgeografi;

    Sammanfattning : The northern Swedish inland is a sparsely populated area with a historical dependence upon natural-resource extraction. Therefore, this region has traditionally been defined as a resource periphery for extractive purposes. However, the rise of tourism challenges this narrative by producing a pleasure periphery for touristic purposes. LÄS MER

  4. 19. Designs for Learning in an Extended Digital Environment : Case Studies of Social Interaction in the Social Science Classroom

    Författare :Susanne Kjällander; Staffan Selander; Eva Svärdemo Åberg; Ria Heilä-Ylikallio; Stockholms universitet; []
    Nyckelord :SAMHÄLLSVETENSKAP; SOCIAL SCIENCES; interaction; learning; meaning-making; digital learning resources; Social Science; school; classroom; pupils; teachers; didactic design; digital interface; assessment; designs for learning; multimodality; Education; Pedagogik; Didactics; didaktik;

    Sammanfattning : This thesis studies designs for learning in the extended digital interface in the Social Science classroom. The aim is to describe and analyse how pupils interact, make meaning and learn while deploying digital learning resources. Together with the thesis a multimodal design theoretical perspective on learning has developed: Designs for Learning. LÄS MER

  5. 20. Patterns of resource interaction in resource constellations: The case of start-ups approaching the Swedish energy system

    Författare :Maria Landqvist; Chalmers tekniska högskola; []
    Nyckelord :TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; SAMHÄLLSVETENSKAP; SOCIAL SCIENCES; Swedish energy system; Resource Development; Business Networks; Start-ups; Interfaces;

    Sammanfattning : This doctoral thesis deals with resource interaction in business networks. Interactive resource development is based on a combination of new and existing resources. However, interactions with specific resource constellations will look different depending on the context in which a new resource is to be embedded. LÄS MER
