    Sammanfattning : The first volume of Histoire de la Turquie published in 1854 by the French writer Alphonse de Lamartine, is entirely dedicated to the life of Prophet Muhammed. This book raises issues which deserve to be examined in the light of Orientalism (1978) by Edward Said, who criticized the persistent Eurocentric prejudice against Arabo-Islamic peoples and their culture. The study is based on interviews with five Swedish teachers in Civics and on observations of their way of giving feedback in the classroom.     Sammanfattning : The present study examines how young students in the last year of comprehensive school make sense and use of the formal assessments they are given regarding their school performance. By interviewing 28 students in year nine of the Swedish compulsory school, ”talk about assessments” is analyzed as speech acts enabled by the assessment discourse. LÄS MER

    Sammanfattning : This work deals with the management of systematized and collaborative artistic design processes, driven by an auteur. It is a critique of the dominant design management discourse as it identifies three critical issues in the discourse leading to a dilemma in the management of such a collaborative auteur-driven process, (i) a static and institutionalized concept of identity, (ii) a focus on a predetermined direction, (iii) a predominant employment of deterministic design methods.
