Its focus is on how Danish and ethnic German (volksdeutsche) national socialists, organised in their respective Nazi parties, dealt with the SS’s crusade on behalf of a supranational racial vision.     Sammanfattning : The aim of this thesis is to analyze the establishment and development of lectureships in the Swedish language in German universities during the first half of the 20th century. Building on earlier research about the role of language teaching abroad for public diplomacy, the study sees the lecturer as a part of both the the academic and political fields in Germany and Sweden.     Sammanfattning : The political ideas put forward in adolescent literature in the GDR from 1979 until the fall of the East German society in 1989 have been studied. Comparisons have been made with important adolescent literature from the founding period of the GDR, as well as with children's books and adult literature from different periods of the short history of the GDR, and occasionally with adolescent literature from the late 19th century and some decades onwards.
