    Sammanfattning : This dissertation investigates resistance strategies and leaving processes of female survivors of male intimate partner violence (IPV), and sheds light on the importance of support from social workers when survivors try to break free from IPV. It also contributes knowledge on how Swedish social workers in social service support units and women’s shelters (run by NGOs or companies) interpret and handle support needs of survivors. LÄS MER

When processing an application for financial aid when a client is at risk of a forced move-out from a home, a discretionary interpretation of the criteria in the Social Services Act is assumed.     Sammanfattning : The aim of this thesis is to study, analyze and understand the relationship between children and youth in foster care and their responsible child welfare workers. The empirical material consists of qualitative interviews with foster children (n=53, three interviews/child, in total 159) and child welfare workers (n=17) conducted in a national evaluation of a pilot project with supervision representatives, and two focus groups conducted for the thesis.
