   Sammanfattning : The purpose of the study was to characterise the phenotype with emphasis on electroretinography in four different types of hereditary retinal degeneration and to correlate it to a genotype when possible. Two methods were used: full-field electroretinography for objective assessment of retinal function and mutation screening of blood samples for detection of gene alterations. LÄS MER

   Sammanfattning : FLT3, a receptor tyrosine kinase, is expressed in hematopoietic progenitor cells. FLT3-ITD (internal tandem duplication) and D835 mutations are found in approximately 30% and 7% of Acute Myeloid Leukemia (AML) patients respectively, and correlate with a poor prognosis, thus making the mutated receptor a potential therapeutic target.    Sammanfattning : The aim of this dissertation was to gain knowledge about the experiences of siblings and parents of children with autism and learning difficulties, about what brought about the decision to apply for a place in a group home for their child and what it meant for the parents that their child had moved. A further aim was to gain knowledge about what it is like to work in a group home for children with autism as well as to investigate the work atmosphere in group homes for adults with autism.    Sammanfattning : Children across the globe today are continuously being exposed to and affected by various kinds of real-world complexities and challenges; however, research on their knowledge and practices in terms of sustainability is limited, in particular with regards to how preschool- and home-related factors are associated with their learning for sustainability. Since 1998, different types of eco-certification have been awarded by the Swedish National Agency for Education and Keep Sweden Tidy Foundation to promote education for sustainability (EfS) in all areas of education and learning.
