1. Flow, expansion and processing behaviours of gas-containing filled polyethylene
Sammanfattning : The utilization of fillers in polymeric materials has exhibited a substantial growth during the last decades. Chalk (calcium carbonate) and glass fibres are two common examples of such fillers. These fillers/reinforcing elements are used in order to reduce the cost of material and change its physical (mechanical) properties. LÄS MER
2. Polyelectrolyte adsorption on oppositely charged surfaces - Conformation and adsorption kinetics
3. Reaching Kinetic Selectivities : In Pursuing Novel Ternary Oxide Coatings, and Beyond
Sammanfattning : Kinetically driven synthesis pathways have the potential to allow new ways to develop materials and phases with much-improved properties. This particularly concerns metastable and multicomponent phases that require a selective kinetic targeting during the synthesis to circumvent the formation of thermodynamically stable products. 4. Volume kinetics of glucose solutions given by intravenous infusion
Sammanfattning : Fluid therapy is often cumbersome to plan since the distribution and the elimination of the administered solution are difficult to analyze in the clinical setting. The knowledge of the adequate rate and dose for each individual patient and under various physiological conditions would be very attractive to obtain in order to avoid fluid overload and hyperglycemia. 5. Study and Modeling of the Reduction of Sulfur Dioxide, Nitrogen Oxides and Hydrogen Chloride by Dry Injection Technologies
Sammanfattning : The potential and mechanism to reduce acid gases, such as SO2, NOx and HCl by dry Ca-based sorbents have been studied to improve the efficiencies of the process and sorbent utilization. Several natural limestones were tested for SO2 removal. Calcium conversion as high as 45% was achieved within 0.3 s at 1000°C, 1000 ppm SO2 and Ca/S=1. LÄS MER
