    Sammanfattning : The professional daily life of bank employees has drastically changed in many ways over the course of the period spanning from 1945 to 1995: computerization has affected the manner of working; a broader and more comprehensive assortment of services is now offered; the bank employees'corps has gone from being composed of two thirds men, to being made up of two thirds women; and changes in society have affected relations behind the banking counter as well as over it. The study focuses upon the manner in which bank employees experience their professional daily lives in light of these changes, but also in regards to their more permanent basic features. LÄS MER

More specifically it focuses on three areas; the neighbourhoods Möllevången and Woodstock close to the respective city centres, and the street Long Street in the very heart of Cape Town central business district.     Sammanfattning : There has been a lack of more profound studies and information on the growth of modern youth culture in Sweden. It has often been alleged that this culture was developed in the 1950s by the more conspicuos youth groupings.     Sammanfattning : För drygt 30 år sedan samlades några uttråkade ungdomar i Hultsfred, Småland och bildade rockföreningen Rockparty. Föreningen byggde upp en omfattande konsertverksamhet och en stark musikscen på den lilla orten. 1986 startade Hultsfredsfestivalen, vilken utvecklades till ett av Sveriges starkaste varumärken.     Sammanfattning : In the first decades of the twentieth century there were fieldwork expeditions in rural Sweden, documenting archaic buildings and villages in words and pictures. These documentation efforts were part of a larger context, where the ambition was to survey and collect all aspects of what was presumed to be a vanishing peasant culture. LÄS MER
