Sammanfattning : The overall aim of this thesis is to examine how pupils in their pictures depict what it means to be a pupil in school today, and to explore the reflections and discussions that the images give rise to among teachers and student teachers. A starting point is the assumption that images are carriers of aspects of knowledge, meaning and sense that cannot always be presented through spoken or written language. LÄS MER
2. Första tiden i yrket - från student till lärare : en studie av de svårigheter nyblivna lärare möter under sin första tid i yrket
Sammanfattning : “How do they manage when left alone in their schools as newly qualified teachers?” Reflections like these evoked an interest to explore how the students become teachers, how their occupational learning processes go on and what difficulties they meet during their first terms in service. In my study I use a narrative concept and it consists of notes from 29 meetings with 25 newly qualified teachers in three different groups during three years. LÄS MER

5. Understanding Group-based Learning in an Academic Context : Rwandan Students’ Reflections on Collaborative Writing and Peer Assessment
Sammanfattning : The overarching aim of the present thesis is to gain knowledge about how Rwandan university students understand and practice group-based learning. Specifically, this research takes a social constructivist perspective when examining how second year students within the area of Modern Languages reflect on collaborative writing and peer assessment as means to promote academic writing and active learning.
