Sammanfattning : This thesis depicts the UNESCO World Heritage Convention (1972), an international law for the protection of natural and cultural heritage sites, as an example of the multiple practices within international policy making. By analysing its transnational constitution, I show how the Convention is constructed in and between locales through bureaucratic and diplomatic procedures characterised by intersecting political and economic interests. Sammanfattning : This thesis explores the late 19th century boulevard press in Stockholm. The study is based on four weekly boulevard newspapers during the period: Figaro, Vikingen [The Viking], Budkaflen [The Fiery Cross] and Hvad Nytt [What’s New]. The main focus of the boulevard press was high-society people and the theatres and restaurants these visited. LÄS MER
