  1. 6. "Här ska kraften vara på!" Interaktion vid körövningar : en studie av instruktioner om luft och andning

    Författare :Ann-Charlotte Rohman Roth; Leelo Keevallik; Pia Bygdéus; Jenny Nilsson; Linnéuniversitetet; []
    Nyckelord :HUMANIORA; HUMANITIES; Interaktionsanalys; körövning; instruktioner; interaktion; multimodalitet; multiaktivitet; EMCA; språkvetenskap; undervisning; andning; röst; Swedish; Svenska språket Nordiska språk;

    Sammanfattning : Syftet för studien är att visa hur en körledare instruerar om luft och andning genom att studera verbalt och förkroppsligat språk i en barnkör när deltagare lär sig att sjunga. Forskningsfrågor har fokus på hur instruktioner om luft och andning ser ut, vilka resurser körledare använder för instruerandet och när under körövningen det instrueras. LÄS MER

  2. 7. Biomechanical Analysis of Fall Injuries using Finite Element Modeling

    Författare :Pooya Sahandifar; Svein Kleiven; Viveca Wallqvist; Yunhua Luo; KTH; []
    Nyckelord :TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; Fall induced injury; finite element analysis; rubberized asphalt mixture; shock-absorbing pavement; hip fracture; elderly; sideways fall; whole-body model;

    Sammanfattning : A fall is a serious health issue for the elderly. Among different fall types, the sideways fall is considered to be more severe concerning the injury outcome. LÄS MER

  3. 8. Movements in the dark : flying, landing and walking in insects

    Författare :THERESE REBER; Funktionell zoologi; []
    Nyckelord :NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; insect; vision; light intensity; bumblebee; retina; behavioural adaptation; flight; landing; dung beetle; nocturnal adaptation; sky compass; straight-line orientation;

    Sammanfattning : Flying, as well as walking insects rely on vision to regulate locomotion, even in the dark when the visual system is much less reliable. To manage visual control of these behaviours at low light intensities, many insects have evolved optical adaptations, such as larger facet lenses and wider rhabdoms, and neural adaptations, such as spatial and temporal summation, to increase their visual sensitivity. 4. 9. Imbalance and fractures in the elderly Effects of decreased vibration sensation and vestibular asymmetry

    Författare :Ella Kolbrun Kristinsdottir; Lund näs- och halssjukdomar Öron-; []
    Nyckelord :MEDICIN OCH HÄLSOVETENSKAP; MEDICAL AND HEALTH SCIENCES; rehabilitation; Rehabilitering medicinsk och social ; Postural Control; Elderly; Vibration sensation; Vestibular asymmetry; Falls; Fractures.; Surgery; orthopaedics; traumatology; Kirurgi; ortopedi; traumatologi; Otorhinolaryngology; audiology; auditive system and speech; revalidation; kinesitherapy; Physical medicine; hörsel- och talorganen; audiologi; Otorinolaryngologi;

    Sammanfattning : Control of the upright stance and locomotion is a complicated process of muscular activity. The muscular activity is dependant on afferent information from the different sensory organs and interpretation in the central nervous system. Age-related degenerative changes exist in all the domains concerned with control of posture. LÄS MER

  5. 10. Cervical influence on dizziness and orientation

    Författare :Eva-Maj Malmström; Människan i rörelse: hälsa och rehabilitering; []
    Nyckelord :MEDICIN OCH HÄLSOVETENSKAP; MEDICAL AND HEALTH SCIENCES; MEDICIN OCH HÄLSOVETENSKAP; MEDICAL AND HEALTH SCIENCES; Neck pain; Muscle fatigue; Vestibular diseases; Cervical range of motion; Cervical spine; 3-D movement analysis; Dizziness; Proprioception; Primary and coupled movements; Physiotherapy;

    Sammanfattning : The overall aim of the work was to examine the influence of cervical biomechanical conditions on movement performance, to study musculoskeletal findings accompanying possible cervicogenic dizziness and to evaluate the influence of cervical proprioception on head orientation. Two devices, measuring cervical range of motion, were compared: Myrin, an inclinometer/compass method and Zebris®, a 3-dimensional ultrasound movement analyser. LÄS MER
