    Sammanfattning : The main objective of this thesis is to analyse how the Swedish Equal Op-portunities Ombudsman (JämO) has used EU legislation as an opportunity for influencing the domestic policy process. The development partnerships, consisting of collaborating parties from both the public and private sector, aimed at developing new methods and ideas in order to counteract discrimination and all kinds of inequality in working life.
