    Sammanfattning : The aim of this thesis is to visualize and explain key dimensions of people’s economic and social relations in the Swedish parish of Sundborn, in the southeast of Dalarna, in the period 1820–1849. This is achieved by examining the economic, social, spatial and political aspects of the trade networks in relation to the social organisation of the early modern towns of Stockholm, Lübeck, Malmö and Reval (Tallinn) in the 16th century.
