    Sammanfattning : I Spår, kropp, tid undersöks den måleriska gestens materialitet i måleri som förknippas med abstrakt expressionism och informell konst. Ett återkommande drag i beskrivningarna av denna konst är att den sägs peka mot, eller handla om, individen eller individualitet; antingen som ett uttryck förkonstnärens inre liv genom fria, improviserade stråk på duken, eller i relation till sociala och historiska sammanhang där individualiteten har uppfattats som undertryckt av industrialismens effekter eller av kollektivistisk statligpolitik.
