1. Att förklara människan : Diskurser i populärvetenskapliga TV-program
Sammanfattning : The principle aim of the study is to describe, analyze and problemize the ways in which television science documentaries (within a public service context) discursively represent scientific theories, research results and conclusions about the origins of human nature and the causes of human behavior. The study covers 25 programs broadcasted by SVT and UR during a period of four years,2002-2005 , and 12 additional programs are used as a basis for discussion. LÄS MER

Sammanfattning : This licentiate thesis aims to contribute to the field of early childhood literacy by focusing on the in situ communication and interaction in literacy activities in preschools and preschool classes. The studied activities were designed by preschool teachers by means of using the educational television programme Life in Letterland (Livet i Bokstavslandet in Swedish) as a point of departure. 5. Knowledge of periodontal disease before and after a mass media campaign targeting periodontitis
Sammanfattning : Syftet var att utvärdera om en massmedia kampanj ökar kunskapen om diagnos, symptom och behandling av parodontit och att analysera kunskap i förhållande till sociala faktorer, användande av tandvård och uppfattning om oral hälsa. Kampanjen utarbetades av Svenska Parodontologiföreningen och genomfördes via tidningsartiklar, radio, TV program och broschyrer som kunde rekvireras av tandvårdskliniker. LÄS MER
