16. Craft production in the Kingdom of Crystal (Glasriket) and its visual representation : Constructing authenticity in cultural/marketing production
Sammanfattning : Authenticity is a core concept and phenomenon in contemporary marketing, as both marketers and consumers seek the authentic. Individuals, companies, and industries all work to establish and accomplish authenticity for themselves and related stakeholders. LÄS MER
17. Structure-based Virtual Screening for Ligands of G Protein-coupled Receptors : Design of Allosteric and Dual-Target Modulators
Sammanfattning : G protein-coupled receptors (GPCRs) are integral membrane proteins responsible for signal transduction of extracellular stimuli into the cell. Because of their widespread distribution throughout the human body and important roles in physiological processes, GPCRs are prominent drug targets and approximately 34% of all approved drugs interact with members of this superfamily. 18. Molecular simulations of G protein-coupled receptors : A journey into structure-based ligand design and receptor function
Sammanfattning : The superfamily of G protein-coupled receptors (GPCRs) contains a large number of important drug targets. These cell surface receptors recognize extracellular signaling molecules, which stimulates intracellular pathways that play major roles in human physiology. LÄS MER
19. High pressure structural investigations using single crystal techniques : influence of pressure on Jahn-Teller distorted alkali manganese fluorides
Sammanfattning : The results from high-pressure single-crystal X-ray diffraction studies of some ternary sodium transition metal fluorides are presented. The structures of NaMnF4, Na2MnF5, Na3MnF6 and Na3ScF6 have been investigated at high pressures, and in connection with these studies the Na5Mn3F14 structure has been investigated at ambient pressure. 20. Influence of Solvent Composition on Crystal Agglomeration of Paracetamol
Sammanfattning : Agglomeration is an important phenomenon which often controls the particle size distribution and morphology in the crystallization of organic compounds. In this thesis the influence of solvent composition on crystal agglomeration of paracetamol is investigated. LÄS MER
