   Sammanfattning : This dissertation examines the relation between orality and literacy in the authorship of Fritiof Nilsson, The Pirate (1895-1972), who was well known both as an author and as an oral storyteller. The investigation is divided into four areas: The first concerns the contents of Fritiof Nilsson´s texts, especially different kind of folklore genres, that belong to verbal traditions (anecdotes, proverbs, legends, folk customs, folk medicin etc).    Sammanfattning : The aim of this study is to examine the rewriting of the memoirs of the former pirate Alexander Olivier Exquemelin, Los Piratas de América, originally published in Amsterdam in 1678, which the Mexican writer Carmen Boullosa carries out in two recent novels: Son vacas, somos puercos and El médico de los piratas. In the light of Gérard Genette’s theory of hypertextuality this study deals with the formal as well as the thematic aspects of this rewriting. LÄS MER

   Sammanfattning : Media such as movies and images are nowadays produced and distributed digitally. It is usually simple to make copies of digital content. Consequently illegal pirate copies can be duplicated and distributed in large quantities. One way to deter authorized content receivers from illegally redistributing the media is watermarking.
