  2. 12. Challenges with Driverless and Unattended Train Operations

    Författare :Emil Jansson; Oskar Fröidh; Nils O.E. Olsson; Ingrid Johansson; Carl-William Palmqvist; Olov Lindfeldt; Ronghui Liu; KTH; []
    Nyckelord :TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; Railway; Automatic train operation; Driverless trains; Train driver; Roles; Automation challenges; Human senses; Trackside sensors; Transportsystem; Transport Systems; Transportvetenskap; Transport Science;

    Sammanfattning : Demand for transportation continues to increase, for both freight and passenger services. One of the most energy-efficient modes of transportation is rail. One solution to increase the attractiveness of rail transport is to introduce automatic train operation (ATO) with a high grade of automation (GoA). LÄS MER

  4. 14. Continuum Mechanics Modelling of Corrugated Board

    Författare :Ulf Nyman; Institutionen för byggvetenskaper; []
    Nyckelord :TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; Material technology; assumed natural strain shell; failure criterion; lifetime; reliability; moisture transport; sorption hysteresis; corrugated board; hygro-elasticity; Materiallära; materialteknik;

    Sammanfattning : The storage of compressive loaded boxes in an environment with naturally varying humidity is a practical issue in corrugated board employment. Time dependent variables such as moisture content, strain fields, stress fields and material strength play important roles for the time to failure. LÄS MER
