Sammanfattning : This dissertation focuses on interaction patterns between preschool children when doing mealtime in a preschool environment, analyzing how social order is displayed and constituted among 3 – to 6-year-olds. Yet, in San Antonio, a 'zona roja' in the Andes, the comuneros do not speak Quichua to their children, even though the Quichua language is seen as an extremely important aspect of Indian identity.
