  1. 26. Chlorine Cycling in Terrestrial Environments

    Författare :Malin Montelius; David Bastviken; Teresia Svensson; Katarina Abrahamsson; Linköpings universitet; []
    Nyckelord :LANTBRUKSVETENSKAPER; AGRICULTURAL SCIENCES; LANTBRUKSVETENSKAPER; AGRICULTURAL SCIENCES; LANTBRUKSVETENSKAPER; AGRICULTURAL SCIENCES; LANTBRUKSVETENSKAPER; AGRICULTURAL SCIENCES; NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; Chloride; organic chlorine; chlorination; dechlorination; 36Cl; risk assessment modelling; Klorid; organiskt klor; klorering; deklorering; klor-36; riskmodellering;

    Sammanfattning : Chlorinated organic compounds (Clorg) are produced naturally in soil. Formation and degradation of Clorg affect the chlorine (Cl) cycling in terrestrial environments and chlorine can be retained or released from soil. LÄS MER

  2. 27. Mechanisms of salt frost scaling on portland cement-bound materials: studies and hypothesis

    Författare :Sture Lindmark; Avdelningen för Byggnadsmaterial; []
    Nyckelord :TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; Deterioration; Durability; Freeze-Thaw; Frost; Salt; Mechanism; Chloride; Diffusion; Adsorption; Building construction; Cement; Concrete; Byggnadsteknik;

    Sammanfattning : A hypothesis regarding the mechanism causing salt frost scaling on Portland cement-bound materials is described. It is assumed that deterioration is due to osmotic micro ice body growth, as has been previously proposed for frost deterioration of moisture-isolated specimens of cement-bound materials. LÄS MER

  3. 28. Chlorine Transport in a Small Catchment

    Författare :Teresia Svensson; Gunilla Öberg; Katarina Abrahamsson; Linköpings universitet; []
    Nyckelord :NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; catchment; chloride; chlorine; chloroform; organic chlorine; runoff water; soil; VOCls; avrinningsområde; avrinningsvatten; flyktiga klorerade föreningar klor; klorid; kloroform; organiskt klor; mark; Water in nature and society; Vatten i natur och samhälle;

    Sammanfattning : De senaste decenniernas forskning har påvisat att en omfattande bildning och nedbrytning av klororganiska föreningar sker i mark. Bildning av sådana föreningar sker genom att klorid binds in i organiskt material. LÄS MER

  4. 29. Studies of the efficiency of granulated blast furnace slag and limestone filler in mortars - long term strength and cloride penetration

    Författare :Dimitrios Boubitsas; Avdelningen för Byggnadsmaterial; []
    Nyckelord :TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; k-value; beständighet; durability; kloridinträngning; cement; limestone filler; bruk; långtidsegenskaper; kalksten; chloride diffusion; slagg; chloride migration; compressive strength; granulated blast furnace slag;

    Sammanfattning : This report is the first part of the project Use of industrial by-products and filler in concrete - long term properties/durability. The aim is to improve the knowledge of long term properties/durability of cement and concrete produced using industrial by-products/fillers in order to promote an efficient, safe, reliable and increased use of such types of materials. Sammanfattning : Epilepsy is a common neurological disease affecting 6 million people in Europe. Early prevention and accurate diagnosis and treatment are of importance to obtain seizure freedom. In this thesis new applications of carbon-11-labelled tracers in PET and autoradiographic studies were explored in focal epilepsy. LÄS MER
