Sammanfattning : Changes in sectors and industries have brought new challenges to corporations as well as been important driving forces for the dynamics in strategy at the corporate level. With the dramatic developments of the 1990’s in mind, such as multilateral free-trade agreements, liberalization, privatization, sharp industry growth/decline, increased competition and globalization, in particular within the telecom and the construction industry, this study contributes to describing and understanding strategic change at the corporate level as well as changes in the division of work within value chains. 4. Arbete som rättighet eller skyldighet : Föreställningar om arbetsmarknadsfrånvaro i välfärdsstaten
Sammanfattning : By analysing how changes in social security systems are motivated, how they are implemented and what consequences they entail for the individual, this dissertation shows how ideological shifts within the Swedish work strategy are put into practice. The findings presented stress that the responsibility for exiting unemployment and/or sick leave has become increasingly a matter for the individual to handle on their own. LÄS MER

Sammanfattning : The aim of this dissertation is to describe how staff working at secure units define violence, the ways in which they say violence affects them emotionally, and the ways they emotionally handle violence.
