    Nyckelord :MEDICIN OCH HÄLSOVETENSKAP; MEDICAL AND HEALTH SCIENCES; mast cells; serglycin; chymase; infection; parasite; Immunologi; Immunology;

    Sammanfattning : Mast cells (MCs), normally classified into connective tissue MCs and mucosal MCs, are highly granulated cells found in the interface between the interior and the exterior environment of our body, e.g. skin, airways and gastro-intestinal tract. LÄS MER

  2. 2. Mast cells in Hodgkin lymphoma or 'What's a nice cell like you doing in a tumour like this?'

    Detta är en avhandling från Uppsala : Acta Universitatis Upsaliensis

    Författare :Marie Fischer; Uppsala universitet.; [2004]
    Nyckelord :MEDICIN OCH HÄLSOVETENSKAP; MEDICAL AND HEALTH SCIENCES; Pathology; Hodgkin lymphoma; mast cells; CD30; CD30L; IL-9; CCL5; atopic dermatitis; psoriasis; IL-8; Patologi; MEDICINE Morphology; cell biology; pathology Pathology; MEDICIN Morfologi; cellbiologi; patologi Patologi;

    Sammanfattning : Mast cell (MC) accumulation around tumours is an old observation gaining new relevance due to the multifaceted nature of MCs and their many roles in immunity, beyond allergy. Knowledge about tumour specific recruitment of, and interactions with, MCs is needed to unravel the function of their presence. LÄS MER

    Sammanfattning : Hodgkin lymphoma (HL) is characterised histologically by a minority of malignant Hodgkin and Reed-Sternberg (HRS) cells surrounded by benign cells, and clinically by a relatively good prognosis. The treatment, however, leads to a risk of serious side effects. LÄS MER

  4. 4. On the role of mast cells in chemokine-induced leukocyte recruitment

    Detta är en avhandling från Department of Clinical Sciences, Lund University

    Sammanfattning : Leukocyte recruitment is considered to playa key role in numerous inflammatory diseases. Tissue accumulation of Jeukocytes is a multi-steps process comprising rolling, adhesion and transmigration. LÄS MER

  5. 5. Mast cells: bad enemies or good friends? A study of the effects of IgG immune complexes on mast cell biology

    Detta är en avhandling från Göteborg : University of Gothenburg

    Författare :Lisa M Larsson; Göteborgs universitet.; Gothenburg University.; [2011]
    Nyckelord :MEDICIN OCH HÄLSOVETENSKAP; MEDICAL AND HEALTH SCIENCES; Mast cell; Fc receptor; Apoptosis; Immune complex; Adjuvant; CTA1-DD.;

    Sammanfattning : Mast cells are classically defined as bad enemies to human health due to their critical involvement in IgE-dependent allergy by virtue of the expression of the high affinity IgE receptor, FcgammaRI, on these cells. However, mouse mast cells also express FcgammaRIIB and FcgammaRIIIA, two receptors that bind IgG especially in the form of IgG immune complexes. LÄS MER
