    Sammanfattning : Precarious migrant workers are today an everyday part of the Swedish labour market. They often work under conditions of vulnerability, on temporary contracts and with few rights.     Sammanfattning : This thesis focuses upon the ambiguity in international environmental law and practice, between, the principle of sic utere tuo ut alienum non iaedas, also referred to as the solidarity principle, and the sovereignty principle. Accordingly, the international regime for environmental protection could, on the one hand, be regarded as promoting policies out of concern for the common good, but on the other hand; the sovereignty principle restricts the possibilities for such policies.     Sammanfattning : How are access to asylum and other forms of extraterritorial protection regulated in the European Union? Is the EU acquis in these areas in conformity with international law? What tools does international law offer to solve conflicts between them? And, finally, is law capable of bridging the foundational oppositions embedded in migration and asylum issues? This work combines the potential of legal formalism with an analytical framework drawing on political theory. It analyses the argumentative strategies used by international lawyers, exploiting the interpretative methodology of international law as well as elaborate discrimination arguments. LÄS MER
