    Sammanfattning : The purpose of this study is to represent and critically analyse the theology of the Swedish theologian and professor in Lund, Gustaf Wingren (1910-2000), with special reference to his confrontational views on the role of theology at the university, in society and in church.     Sammanfattning : In my PhD-thesis I present issues that deal with the transformation of ancient Scandinavian religion into Christianity, a transformation which is evident in the mortuary practices from 8th to 12th century AD in the region of Västergötland, in western Sweden. In part one I discuss and evaluate the relevant theoretical and methodological considerations and formulate a critical realistic and existential inspired archaeology. LÄS MER
