  1. 1. Overall Accessibility of Public Transport for Older Adults

    Författare :Catherine Sundling; Mats E. Nilsson; Birgitta Berglund; Leslie R. Pendrill; Ragne Emardson; Bo Edvardsson; Stockholms universitet; []
    Nyckelord :SAMHÄLLSVETENSKAP; SOCIAL SCIENCES; older persons; critical incidents; critical reactions; travel behavior; accessibility; functional limitation; functional ability; barrier; facilitator; public transport; railway travel; Psychology; psykologi;

    Sammanfattning : This thesis is based on four studies that explore accessibility for older adults during whole trips by public transport. The overall goal was to gain knowledge of the interrelationships among key variables and to develop a conceptual model of the overall accessibility of public transport. LÄS MER

  2. 2. Effects of critical incidents on consumer satisfaction

    Författare :Margareta Friman; Karlstads universitet; []
    Nyckelord :SAMHÄLLSVETENSKAP; SOCIAL SCIENCES; Perceived service quality; Consumer satisfaction; Negative critical incidents; Affect; Public transport; Psykologi; Psychology; Perceived service quality; Consumer satisfaction; Negative critical incidents; Affect; Public transport;

    Sammanfattning : Satisfaction is assumed to be an important cause of attitude change by mediating between preexposure and postexposure attitudes. A number of factors account for whether one is satisfied or not with a specific product or service. One factor is expectations, another performance of the product or service, and a third disconfirmation of expectation. LÄS MER

  3. 3. Atom and Group Transfer Reactions Involving High-valent Iron Complexes

    Författare :Yong Li; Kemisk fysik; []
    Nyckelord :NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; Iron enzymes; high-valent iron intermediates; bio-inspired iron complexes; FeIV=O; FeIV=NR; catalytic reactions; electronic effects; steric restriction.;

    Sammanfattning : Iron enzymes play critical roles in biological oxidation reactions by utilizing highly reactive high-valent iron intermediates, such as FeIV=O, FeV(O)(OH), and FeIV=NR species, for catalytic reactions. These intermediates exhibit remarkable catalytic behavior with high reactivities and high regio- and stereospecificity in various biochemical reactions. LÄS MER

  4. 4. Bankkrisen, medierna och politiken : Offentliga tolkningar och reaktioner på 90-talets bankkris

    Författare :Bengt Larsson; Jan Ekecrantz; Sweden University of Gothenburg; []
    Nyckelord :SAMHÄLLSVETENSKAP; SOCIAL SCIENCES; banking crisis; Sweden; sociology; public sphere; media; problem definitions; interpretive packages; steering; regulation; legal reactions; policy; Sociology; Sociologi;

    Sammanfattning : This dissertation is a case study of the Swedish banking crisis in the early 1990s. It also treats general theoretical questions of the relation between the economy and society. LÄS MER

  5. 5. Critical potential and oxygen evolution of the chlorate anode

    Författare :Linda Nylén; Göran Lindbergh; Yohannes Kiros; KTH; []
    Nyckelord :TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; chlorate; chloride oxidation; oxygen evolution; critical anode potential; chromate; DSA; mass transport; RDE; Chemical engineering; Kemiteknik;

    Sammanfattning : In the chlorate process, natural convection arises thanks to the hydrogen evolving cathode. This increases the mass transport of the different species in the chlorate electrolyte. There is a strong connection between mass transport and the kinetics of the electrode reactions. LÄS MER
