16. Skyddsombud i allas intresse : en rättsvetenskaplig studie
Sammanfattning : This study is about Swedish “safety delegates” (skyddsombud). The main function of a safety delegate (SD) is to represent employees in matters of work environment (health and safety including psychosocial aspects). The legislation concerning SDs is mainly found in the Swedish Work Environment Act (WEA) and in collective agreements. LÄS MER
17. Self assembly of surfactants and polyelectrolytes in solution and at interfaces
Sammanfattning : This thesis focuses on the study of the interactions between polyelectrolytes and surfactants in aqueous solutions and at interfaces, as well as on the structural changes these molecules undergo due to that interaction. Small–angle neutron scattering, dynamic, and static light scattering were the main techniques used to investigate the interactions in bulk. LÄS MER
18. Plasma membrane arabinogalactan proteins
Sammanfattning : Arabinogalactan proteins (AGPs) are proteoglycans found at the outer side of the plasma membrane and in the extracellular matrix of plants. To be able to study the plasma membrane bound AGPs, a method using SDS-agarose gel electrophoresis (SDS-AGE) was developed to overcome the problems associated with electrophoretic separation of highly glycosylated proteins. 19. Interactions Between Biopolymers and Surfactants with Focus on Fluorosurfactants and Proteins
Sammanfattning : The aim of this thesis was to obtain a better understanding of the association between surfactants and biopolymers in bulk solutions and at solid/aqueous liquid interface. In order to do this, the interactions between surfactants and biopolymers were investigated with a variety of experimental techniques. LÄS MER
20. Protein-Polymer Interaction and Association in Aqueous Solution
Sammanfattning : The aim of this thesis has been to study protein-polymer interaction and association. Two different techniques were used; Monte Carlo simulations were combined with partitioning in polymeric aqueous two-phase systems. Monte Carlo simulations have been used to evaluate the hydrophobic interaction in electrolyte solution. LÄS MER
