Sammanfattning : This dissertation proceeds from the learning play as a historical idea about a theatre produced in relation to a political movement. Through the participation in the collective creation of two theatre performances, Violence & Learning and Corpus & Punishment, it takes part in the learning about societal phenomena in an attempt to answer the question: How can I participate in the creation of a new generation of learning plays? One of the starting points is a critical approach to views that the audience is passive and needs to be activated, or uninformed and needs to be informed. LÄS MER

Sammanfattning : Over the last decade, a great variety of visionary ideas and beliefs have been brought forward, regarding the potentials of using computer games as a tool for learning and mediation in educational settings. 4. Memory-based Lie Detection in Repeated Interviews: The Importance of Early Use of Mnemonics
Sammanfattning : The aim of this thesis was to examine how memory-enhancing (mnemonic) techniques used in an interview carried out immediately after an event affected truth tellers’ and liars’ responses in both an immediate interview and in a delayed interview. In Studies I-III participants took part in a mock intelligence scenario in which they were asked to take the role of an intelligence officer. LÄS MER
5. Mobile Health Interventions through Reinforcement Learning
Sammanfattning : This thesis presents work conducted in the domain of sequential decision-making in general and Bandit problems in particular, tackling challenges from a practical and theoretical perspective, framed in the contexts of mobile Health. The early stages of this work have been conducted in the context of the project ``improving Medication Adherence through Person-Centred Care and Adaptive Interventions'' (iMedA) which aims to provide personalized adaptive interventions to hypertensive patients, supporting them in managing their medication regimen.
