The aim of the thesis is to examine this relationship in the Swedish core executive, Regeringskansliet.     Sammanfattning : Local anaesthetics provide excellent pain relief after central and peripheral nerve blocks. However, in many clinical situations there is an insufficient duration of action to allow effective treatment of long-term pain with single injection techniques.     Sammanfattning : The overall objective of this study was to investigate how NS0 cell proliferation is regulated in protein-free media. The hypothesis was that during the adaptation to growth factor-free media, animal cell lines start to produce their own autocrine growth factors to support proliferation, and after some time in a culture the effects of these factors are lost which results in cessation of proliferation.     Sammanfattning : Cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) biomarkers may be used to identify and monitor pathological processes in the central nervous system. CSF biomarkers in Alzheimer’s disease (AD) include β-amyloid 42 (Aβ42), total-tau (T-tau) and phosphorylated-tau (P-tau), reflecting brain amyloid, axonal and tangle pathology, respectively. LÄS MER

    Sammanfattning : Brown adipose tissue has long been known for its heat-producing capacity, but less is known about its possible effects as a secretory organ. This thesis summarizes information about presently known factors secreted from brown adipose tissue and about their actions.
