    Sammanfattning : The subject of this thesis is Emile Zola’s novel Thérèse Raquin (1867). The principal aim is to examine lexical repetitions and their importance for semantic networks. The thesis studies the use of the noun cou and certain of its co-occurrences, as well as the use of colours and their derivatives. LÄS MER

Published between 1977 and 1999 and collectively known as the Railroad Epic, the novels depict the industrialization of Northern Sweden in the late 19th century, and how it affected the people living there.
