    Nyckelord :SAMHÄLLSVETENSKAP; SOCIAL SCIENCES; SAMHÄLLSVETENSKAP; SOCIAL SCIENCES; SAMHÄLLSVETENSKAP; SOCIAL SCIENCES; Children’s performed activities; childhood sociology; conversation analysis; Ethnomethodology; participation framework; preschool; structural and semiotic resources;

    Sammanfattning : The overarching aim of this thesis is to explore preschool children’s participation in and creation of self-organized joint activities (henceforth activities) in a Swedish preschool with a focus on how children’s everyday activities (initiated by children) are produced sequentially in time. The theoretical framework of the study is taken from childhood sociology (Corsaro, 2011), ethnomethodology (Garfinkel, 1967) and conversation analysis (Schegloff, 2007) and targets the production of children’s activities from beginning to end. 2. 12. Cognitive Interactive Robot Learning

    Författare :Benjamin Fonooni; Hellström Thomas; Lars Erik Janlert; Christian Balkenius; Umeå universitet; []
    Nyckelord :TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; Learning from Demonstration; Imitation Learning; Human Robot Interaction; High-Level Behavior Learning; Shared Control; Cognitive Architectures; Cognitive Robotics; Priming; business data processing; administrativ databehandling;

    Sammanfattning : Building general purpose autonomous robots that suit a wide range of user-specified applications, requires a leap from today's task-specific machines to more flexible and general ones. To achieve this goal, one should move from traditional preprogrammed robots to learning robots that easily can acquire new skills. LÄS MER

    Sammanfattning : This thesis concerns teaching in mathematics teacher education and is based on the implementation of a learning study at teacher training. The overall purpose was to investigate in what way teacher training could facilitate and improve student teachers’ Mathematical Knowledge for Teaching (MKT). LÄS MER

  4. 14. Proximity and Learning in Internationalisation : Small Swedish IT firms in India

    Författare :Kristina Westermark; Brita Hermelin; Charlotta Hedberg; Andrew Jones; Stockholms universitet; []
    Nyckelord :SAMHÄLLSVETENSKAP; SOCIAL SCIENCES; Internationalisation; proximity; learning; communities of practice; India; Sweden; ICT; service; IT; small firms; Human Geography; kulturgeografi;

    Sammanfattning : The four IT service firms of this thesis set out to interact and collaborate between their offices in Sweden and in India, some more intensely and frequently than others. In the process of their internationalisation, these small service firms find ways, or go through a process of learning how to collaborate in an international setting. LÄS MER

  5. 15. Reinforcement Learning for Active Visual Perception

    Författare :Aleksis Pirinen; Mathematical Imaging Group; []
    Nyckelord :NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; computer vision; reinforcement learning; deep learning; active vision; object detection; human pose estimation; semantic segmentation;

    Sammanfattning : Visual perception refers to automatically recognizing, detecting, or otherwise sensing the content of an image, video or scene. The most common contemporary approach to tackle a visual perception task is by training a deep neural network on a pre-existing dataset which provides examples of task success and failure, respectively.
