  1. 21. Improved Energy Efficiency in the Aluminium Industry and its Supply Chains

    Författare :Joakim Haraldsson; Magnus Karlsson; Maria Johansson; Max Åhman; Linköpings universitet; []
    Nyckelord :TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY;

    Sammanfattning : Energy is an essential resource in the daily lives of humans. However, the extraction and use of energy has an impact on the environment. The industrial sector accounts for a large share of the global final energy use and greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions. The largest source of industrial GHG emissions is energy use. LÄS MER

  2. 22. Platforms in industrialised house-building

    Författare :Gustav Jansson; Brian Atkin; Luleå tekniska universitet; []
    Nyckelord :TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; Träbyggnad; Timber Structures;

    Sammanfattning : Demands for shorter lead times, customized buildings and high quality deliveries drive house-building firms to systematise work in their supply chains. A practice of reusing processes and technical solutions leads to the formation of platforms in industrialised house-building. LÄS MER

  3. 23. IT som stöd för strategiska beslut : en studie av datorimplementerade modeller av verksamhet som stöd för beslut om anskaffning av JAS 1982

    Författare :Susanne Odar; Birger Rapp; Linköpings universitet; []
    Nyckelord :NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; Computer science; Datavetenskap; Economic Information Systems; Ekonomiska informationssystem;

    Sammanfattning : Värdet av utvecklingen och användningen av värderingsmodeller inför beslutet om anskaffning av JAS 1982 beskrivs och analyseras i denna avhandling. Inom försvaret har datorimplementerade modeller av verksamhet - värderingsmodeller - använts som stöd för beslut sedan 1960-talet. LÄS MER

    Sammanfattning : This thesis analyses how the Swedish forest industry has (re)acted regarding the energy transition and, in particular, regarding the reconstruction of the electricity and forest resources in Sweden during the 1989–2009 period. The thesis consists of four papers that analyse how the Swedish forest industry by means of energy management practices at individual pulp and/or paper mills, in corporate strategies performed by CEOs and boards of directors, and via its industry association, has dealt with mounting political and public demands for the industry to become ‘greener’.
