  1. 1. Evolution in changing environments revealed by fire melanism in pygmy grasshopper

    Detta är en avhandling från Linnaues University Press

    Författare :Magnus Karlsson; Linnéuniversitetet.; [2010]
    Nyckelord :NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; Evolution Melanism Polymorphism Pygmy grasshoppers; NATURAL SCIENCES Biology; NATURVETENSKAP Biologi; Evolutionary Biology; Evolutionsbiologi;

    Sammanfattning : According to theory, genetic diversity can be maintained by environmental variation and the degree of genetic and phenotypic polymorphism may enhance the ability of populations to endure stress imposed by changing environments. In my thesis I used colour polymorphic pygmy grasshoppers (Tetrix subulata) as a model system to explore how environmental variation influenced genetic diversity. LÄS MER

  2. 2. Från Jernverk till Hjärnverk : Ungdomstidens omvandling i Ronneby under tre generationer

    Detta är en avhandling från Department of Sociology, Lund University

    Författare :Magnus Karlsson; Lund University.; Lunds universitet.; [2000]

    Sammanfattning : The place is Ronneby, a smallish town in southern Sweden. My subjects are working class and lower middle class men in Ronneby, men who — since the beginning of the century — have encountered changing conditions for reaching adulthood. LÄS MER

  3. 3. Ganglionic nerve fibres in ventral roots

    Detta är en avhandling från Linköping : Linköpings universitet

    Författare :Magnus Karlsson; Högskolan i Jönköping.; Linköpings universitet.; Linköpings universitet.; [1995]
    Nyckelord :MEDICIN OCH HÄLSOVETENSKAP; MEDICAL AND HEALTH SCIENCES; MEDICINE; MEDICIN;

    Sammanfattning : According to the law of Magendie, the ventral roots channel efferent nerve fibres from the spinal cord to the periphery, while the dorsal roots channel afferent axons from the periphery into the spinal cord. However, as sensory C-fibres have been observed in mammalian ventral roots outside the autonomic outflow, this law has been questioned. LÄS MER

  4. 4. Phosphine ligands with triamine functionality - preparation and application in catalysis

    Detta är en avhandling från Inorganic Chemistry, Chemical Center, Lund University

    Författare :Magnus Karlsson; Lund University.; Lunds universitet.; [2000]
    Nyckelord :NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; Inorganic chemistry; water soluble; palladium; amphiphilic; rhodium; Oorganisk kemi;

    Sammanfattning : Incorporation of the triamine, bis(2-diethylaminoethyl) amine as a side chain substituent on triphenylphosphine, (2S,4S)-4-diphenylphosphino-2-diphenylphosphino-methylpyrrolidine (PPM) or (R,R)-3,4-bis(diphenylphosphin)pyrrolidine (Pyrphos) gives the three new amphiphilic ligands N3P, N3PPM and N3-Pyrphos respectively. Because of the triamine functionality the distribution of the ligands and their complexes between water and an organic solvent is controlled by the pH of the aqueous phase. LÄS MER

  5. 5. Själv men inte ensam : om självhjälpsgrupper i Sverige

    Detta är en avhandling från Stockholm : Institutionen för socialt arbete - Socialhögskolan, Stockholms universitet

    Sammanfattning : In this thesis, self-help groups are defined as small, autonomous groups of people that meet regularly to cope with a shared problem through mutual aid. There is reason to believe that self-help group activity is increasing in Sweden. LÄS MER
