21. Molecular overlayers on homogeneous and heterogeneous metal surfaces studied by core-level photoemission
Sammanfattning : The main topic of this thesis is the investigation of small molecules adsorbed on metal surfaces by means of core-level photoemission spectroscopy. The thesis consists of three parts; The first group of papers concerns the effects of internal molecular vibrations on the core-level photoemission spectra. LÄS MER
22. Designing, Theorizing, and Reflecting on Information Systems Artifacts and Value Co-Creation in e-Government
Sammanfattning : E-government services in the form of information systems (IS) artifacts create a new arena for co-creation that governments aim to leverage. Design of and knowledge about IS artifacts in value co-creation in e-government can thereby be considered valuable for the future development of e-government. LÄS MER
23. Structure and developments in the solid wood value chain : dominant saw milling strategies and industrialized housing
Sammanfattning : The study, using a combination of a qualitative case study and archival study approach, aims at describing and analyzing the development in the solid wood value chain i.e. sawn timber products, dominant Swedish saw milling strategies, and industrialized housing. LÄS MER
24. Simulation of Core-Level Spectra of H-bonded Systems
Sammanfattning : The thesis consists of three related projects where attempts have been made to simulate X-Ray Absorption (XAS) spectra of water and hexagonal ice, static non-resonant X-ray Emission (XES) spectrum of water and to apply the semi-classical approximation to Kramers-Heisenberg formula (SCKH) formalism to calculate the non-resonant XES spectrum of water and methanol. The first project is devoted to an investigation of the performance of damped response theory in combination with the DFT electronic structure method (CPP-DFT) in XAS spectrum simulations of liquid water. 25. Mixed Beam Dosimetry - From Reactor Core to BNCT Patient
Sammanfattning : Accurate radiation dosimetry is of paramount importance in order to ensure safe delivery of radiotherapy, and for the possibility of meaningful evaluation of clinical trials, as the radiation absorbed dose is correlated to tissue response. The aim of the studies described in this thesis was to investigate and devise novel approaches to mixed beam dosimetry in boron neutron capture therapy (BNCT). LÄS MER
