  2. 2. Terpenoid Conidiation Factors in Penicillium cyclopium

    Författare :Yanhong He; Centrum för analys och syntes; []
    Nyckelord :NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; acetals; hydrolysis; Biotechnology; Bioteknik; total synthesis; analogues; synthesis; conidiogenone; conidiogenol; terpenoid; Penicillium cyclopium; conidiation inducing activity; Natural product; fungal metabolites;

    Sammanfattning : Filamentous fungi produce asexual dispersive spores (conidia), when conditions are not suitable for apical extension growth. Conidiation (the process by which conidia produced) in genus Penicillium has attracted considerable interest because of its wide usage in different areas. LÄS MER

  3. 3. NMR STUDIES ON STRUCTURE AND DYNAMICS OF TWO-DOMAIN PROTEINS

    Författare :Houman Ghasriani; Biofysikalisk kemi; []
    Nyckelord :NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; Fysikalisk kemi; Biochemistry; Metabolism; Biokemi; metabolism; Physical chemistry; Molekylär biofysik; CRISP-3; NMR; 3D-structure; NMR relaxation; Molecular biophysics; Prostate cancer; EGF module; PSP94; Beta-microseminoprotein; Protein S;

    Sammanfattning : The general objective of the present thesis work was to examine 3-dimensional structure as well as the motional properties of two different types of two-domain proteins by solution-state NMR. One of the major tasks of this thesis work was to investigate the domain orientation of these molecules by employing residual dipolar couplings (RDC) which can be used as orientational restraints for increasing the accuracy of protein structures determined by NMR.
